Ben grew up in the City of Cambridge. He is a proud graduate of Southwood Secondary School.Ben attended Wilfrid Laurier University and he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2010.
Ben attended law school at the Queen’s University Faculty of Law where he was recognized for outstanding academic achievement. He was the winner of the Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP Award for highest standing in Creditors’ Remedies: Enforcement & Bankruptcy Law and the John Deakin Buckley Walton Scholarship in Administrative Law. Ben graduated with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in 2013.
Ben is a proud lifelong resident of Cambridge. Having spent the summers of 2011 and 2012 with the firm as a summer student, Ben returned and completed his articles under the mentorship of Bernard Cummins. Ben was called to the Bar in June 2014 and he remains with the firm as an associate.
He is a member of the Rotary Club of Cambridge (Preston-Hespeler). He is proud to be involved in the Cambridge Times Rotary Classic committee and the Rotary Oktoberfest committee. Ben emphasizes community connectivity and is eager to participate in local undertakings.
Ben’s practice is primarily focused in the area of civil litigation; including personal injury, employment law, commercial and real estate litigation. Ben is a member of the Matlow, Miller, Cummins, Thrasher police law team.
