Eric has practiced law for 10 years, primarily in Brantford and Kitchener, focusing on Criminal, Quasi Criminal and assisting police associations, representing officer in investigations and criminal matters.
He was raised in Brantford and worked as constable for the Brantford Police Service for 10 years before applying to the University of Western Ontario School of Law. He resigned from police to complete his education.
He was called to the bar in 2016 and since has assisted hundreds of clients in bail court, trial courts and pleas in both the Ontario Court of Justice and Superior Court of Justice, as well as drafting and successfully arguing summary conviction appeals.
He recently successfully defended a client charged with Drug Impaired operation and refusal (R v Wilson, 2026 ONCJ 211) that was called “the best and in my opinion most important case decided about the DRE program to date” (Kyla Lee, The Beacon 102, 2026. www.criminaldefenceessentials.com).
